Platform fees

OtterBill operates as a platform on Stripe Connect. When a parent pays an invoice or recurring tuition through OtterBill, Stripe deducts its standard processing fees from the payment and OtterBill collects a platform fee equal to 1% of the payment. The remainder is paid out to your connected Stripe account on Stripe's standard payout schedule.

The platform fee is disclosed at the time of payment via Stripe's standard reporting on the connected account. There is no monthly subscription fee. We may update the platform fee with reasonable advance notice posted on this page.
